Recording CPEUs from FNCE® 2025

Attending educational sessions at the FNCE® can be claimed for continuing professional education units (CPEUs). Follow these guidelines:

  • Learners should log all attended FNCE® sessions as a single entry in their Activity Log. One hour of sessions equals one CPEU. Add up your total hours attended to calculate your CPEUs.
  • Learners are highly encouraged to use auto entry to record activities.
  • Learners who chose not to use auto entry to record activities will select an activity type based on the date their recertification cycle ends and the format of the education session.
  • Based on the schedule of events, a learner who attends FNCE® 2025 in person could attend a total of 16.5 hours of live educational sessions. Therefore, a learner may claim no more than 16.5 CPEUs under activity type 170/172 for FNCE® 2025.
Please note: This number is not inclusive of events available as add-ons to FNCE® registration, such as workshops and symposiums.

Live educational sessions and poster sessions can be recorded in the Activity Log via auto entry. Auto entry requires the activity's six-digit activity number.

To record an activity via auto entry with the activity's six-digit activity number, follow these steps:

  1. Locate the activity's six-digit activity number in either the Day-At-A-Glance listings or in the FNCE® app.
  2. Log into your MyCDR account and enter the six-digit activity number on the first screen.
  3. Complete the activity entry and click save.

Recertification cycle ends 2026-2029

  • Live educational sessions: Activity Type 170
  • Poster sessions: Activity Type 180*

Recertification cycle ends 2030 and after

  • Live educational sessions: Activity Type 172
  • Poster sessions: Activity Type 181*

RDs and DTRs may claim a maximum of 15 and 10 CPEUs, respectively, per five-year recertification cycle for Activity Types 180 and 181. Practitioners may create one entry for the total cumulative number of hours spent viewing posters.
